It was a lot of work, but it’s here: safe, legal, professional drone services from HouseLens! We’re calling our new service “Drones Done Right” for a reason. Not only did we comply with all the FAA requirements (six months of paperwork and training!), but we also tailored the offering just for real estate agents and brokers.

HouseLens, Inc., has added drone video and photography to its industry-leading, nationwide line of visual marketing services for real estate.

“We like to think of it as ‘drones done right’,” says HouseLens Founder & CEO Andrew Crefeld. “A lot of companies are offering drone services illegally, or skimping on essentials like video editing and turnaround time. We wanted to provide real estate agents with a service that is safe, legal and, above all, professional.”

The HouseLens drone program complies with all FAA requirements, which include obtaining a Section 333 exemption, registering and insuring all drones, contracting with licensed pilots and visual observers, and filing flight plans for every shoot.

But the company has not just focused on checking regulatory boxes. As with HouseLens’ other visual marketing services, the drone offering is tailored to real estate agents’ needs.

“We serve the real estate industry and verticals exclusively, so we understand how busy agents are and how much they need a convenient, fully packaged solution to market their listings,” Crefeld says.

HouseLens’ Nashville-based customer service team schedules shoots nationwide six days a week and accepts online orders 24/7 at HouseLens.com. Drone pricing starts at $299 for a base package that includes professionally edited photos and video; full integration with the customer’s HouseLens walk-through listing video; mobile-first, agent-branded and MLS-compatible single-property webpages; and 24-hour turnaround. Agents can easily access and share their content from the company’s mobile-first, web-based customer portal.

HouseLens’ nationwide footprint is another advantage in the battle to win drone business. In 2015, the company served real estate brokerages and agents in 50 markets, and expansion is ongoing.

“We’ve built scheduling, editing and artist certification systems that help us maintain efficiency and scale rapidly without sacrificing quality,” Crefeld says. “We’re uniquely positioned to serve nationwide real estate brands and brokerages with the best that today’s visual marketing technologies have to offer.”
